Consumers PowerMiDrive Program
Customers of Consumers Energy may be eligible for a $500 rebate when installing a qualifying charger with EZ EVolution. Commercial customers may qualify for up to a $5,000 rebate for level 2 charger installations and up to $70,000 rebate for level 3 charger installations!
DTE Energy
Customers of DTE energy may be eligible for a rebate up to $500 when installing a qualifying charger through EZ EVolution. EV Charger Rebates go directly to the customer after installation but we can help you navigate the entire process!
Alternative Fuel Vehicle Refueling Property Credit 2021
You may be eligible to receive a tax credit for installing your electric vehicle charger at home or your business! Residential customers may be eligible for a credit of 30% up to $1,000 to offset charger installation costs. Commercial customers may be eligible for an electric vehicle charging station installation credit for 30% of installation costs up to $30,000! Qualified Plug-In Electric Tax Credit 2021
If you purchased plug-in electric vehicle (PEV), you may be eligible for the PEV Tax credit ranging from $2,500 up to $7,500. Certain models are excluded from this tax credit based on the specific manufacturer. Before you buy a PEV, let us know so we can help you ensure you get the greatest savings!
Standard Home
What is an EZ EVolution "Standard Home"?
The EZ EVolution Standard Home is a specification we use to be able to provide you with one simple price for your electric vehicle charger installation. Customers looking to upgrade their EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment) from the basic outlet charger to level 2 EVSE may need to have significant modifications to their home by a qualified electrician to have the additional capacity - we tried to simplify those requirements by coming up with a standardized installation outline known as the "Standard Home".
A Standard Home Meets the following specifications:
- Available space on your circuit breaker
- Circuit located in your garage or basement with an unfinished or drop ceiling
- Less than 50 linear feet from your circuit breaker to where you want the charger placed
What if my home is not a "Standard Home"?
If your home does not meet the Standard Home specifications DONT WORRY! EZ EVolution will work with our installation partners to negotiate the most competitive EVSE pricing for any additional time and materials needed to complete your installation above and beyond the base price.
